Danielle Amy is a visual storyteller and creative based between Brooklyn, NY and Tel Aviv-Jaffa.
A graduate of The School of Visual Arts she interned at TIME magazine as a photo editor and photographer during the historic 2016 presidential election and has promoted women’s empowerment by capturing the spirit of the women’s march which was published on the cover of the magazine.
Working both on locations and in studios she has assisted established filmmakers and photographers in pre/post-production as well as on location.
After producing feature stories at National Geographic Magazine for several years, she embarked on her own path as a freelance visual creative applying her skills as a photographer, photo editor, producer and researcher on personal projects, various assignments and contracts.
Her photography which focuses on emotive portraiture and poetic documentary storytelling has been published by New York Magazine, The Washington Post, NBC, WSJ, The LA Times, The New York Times, The Guardian, TIME, and National Geographic and awarded by The American Photography Awards.
Clients include New York Magazine, Bon Appétit Magazine, Condé Nast Traveler, WSJ, Apple and Airbnb.
Danielle is trilingual speaking English, Hebrew, and Spanish.
